Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. A late check-out may be requested and we will accommodate you if their is availability. Please contact the front desk before your check-out time and they will assist you with availability.

At El Encanto All Inclusive Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, you can vacation your way. You can book your reservation either with the All-Inclusive Plan that includes a suite, food, and activities, or European Plan  with a room only. If you booked a European Plan, we also offer  All-Inclusive day passes for purchase through our call center before your arrival or at check-in (minimum 3 nights).

Yes, we are a family friendly resort with activities for children and adults. The resort offers three pools, including a kid's pool, a playground, tennis courts, a beach, child care services, and kid-friendly cuisine. Our activity director will entertain you with fun activities such as cooking, cocktail, and Spanish classes, pool volleyball, lottery and horseback riding, and our concierge is happy to help arrange tours and Cabo adventures.

The three outdoor pools at El Encanto Resort are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm every day for guests. The poolside cantina bar is open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, serving great drinks and Mexican and American food.

Our Cabo resort offers a Weekly Activity Calendar that's on our App or you can request it at the Front Desk. We also have an Activity Center, where you can book spa experiences and golf outings and get tips on all the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas. Absolutely, El Encanto All Inclusive Resort has a whole Kid's Zone with a kid's pool and games dedicated to young vacationers. The kid's pool is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm every day.

Dining

It is not compulsory. However, since it is subject to availability it is widely recommended making a reservation especially if it's a dinner reservation at any of our specialty restaurants: Los Riscos, La Trajinera & Barolo.

Yes, kids are welcome to enjoy all of our resort restaurants and bars so everyone in the family can try the foods and flavors of Cabo. La Trajinera is our only restaurant that does not allow children under 12 years old. The other restaurants allow children of all ages.

There are nine restaurants and bars at El Encanto All Inclusive, including Los Riscos, serving fresh grilled seafood and fish, Il Forna, serving Italian and wood-fired pizza, La Trajinera, dishing up Baja specialties and local seafood, and El Edén for tacos and tequilas. Book the All Inclusive Plan for dining experiences at the resort as well as the restaurants in the Marina Golden Zone in downtown Cabo.

In the resort, the legal alcohol drinking age is 18 for Mexicans and 21 for Americans and Canadians. However, the legal age to drink in Cabo San Lucas and throughout Mexico is 18, so many establishments will serve Americans and Canadians over 18 years of age.

 

Getting Around

The private transportation service takes about 30 minutes whilst the shared shuttle takes around 45-60 minutes.

Los Cabos International Airport is about 45 minutes from the resort. You can make arrangements for transportation through our Travel Agents or by calling 1-877-319-5080 in the US or 01-800-942-2436 within Mexico.

If you need transportation from Los Cabos International Airport, which is 20 miles away, to the resort, we can arrange shuttle service or transportation. Cabo San Lucas is roughly 50 minutes by car to San José del Cabo, a resort city on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. The seat of Los Cabos Municipality, San José del Cabo lies on a shallow bay 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Cabo San Lucas on the Gulf of California and is known for its sandy beaches and historic colonial buildings.

From Cabo San Lucas to downtown San Jose the taxi costs $35 USD if taken at the taxi rank we have at El Encanto All Inclusive Resort. If your destination is Los Cabos International Airport, it costs $70 USD. It fits up to 4 people and it costs $20 USD per extra person. The amount varies if you take a taxi from Downtown San José or the San José Airport to Cabo San Lucas.

Downtown Cabo san Lucas is a destination on the southernmost tip of Baja California with beautiful beaches, restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The resort is about 10-15 minutes from downtown by car or shuttle, which runs every two hours from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm. If you are not on the All-Inclusive Plan, the shuttle is $5 USD per person per ride to get downtown, where you'll find exciting bars, El Squid Row and the Marina.

El Encanto All Inclusive Resort offers a shuttle service to our sister resort, Marina Fiesta, which is located in downtown Cabo San Lucas. The shuttle runs every two hours from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm. For guests who have the All-Inclusive plan, the shuttle to downtown Cab San Lucas is free. For all other resort guests, the cost is $5 USD per person per ride.

Getting around Cabo is easy from our resort, which is tucked into the Baja cliffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez, yet close to downtown, the Marina Golden Zone and famous attractions like The Arch. The resort offers shuttle service to downtown Cabo, but you can always rent a car with National Car Rental, the company that we partner with, if you want to go explore. Our concierge can also arrange taxis, transportation and tours.

Absolutely. El Encanto All Inclusive Resort offers complimentary valet parking for guests. So if you decide to rent a car at Los Cabos International Airport, you can drive up, hand us the keys, and let us park it for you. When you want to go explore Cabo, you'll have in and out access.

 

Travel Tips

Many major airlines fly to Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo into Los Cabos International Airport, including Aeroméxico, Aero Pacifico, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Apple Vacations, Calafia Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Interjet, Magni, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Sunwing Airlines, United Airlines, United Express, Vacation Express, VivaAerobus, Volaris, and WestJet.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is served by Los Cabos International Airport located in San José del Cabo, which is about a 45-minute drive from El Encanto Resort. The airport is the sixth-busiest airport in Mexico and one of the top in Latin America, and offers domestic and international flights.

The best time to visit Cabo is from May to June, when the winter crowds have faded and the summer tropical storms have yet to hit. October and November are perfect for a fall vacation, when the temperatures are not too hot. If you're into whale watching, visit between mid-December and mid-April. If you like to fish, come in late summer or fall. if you want to avoid young crowds, stay away in March and April, when spring break descends on Baja California. Remember, Pacific hurricane season runs from mid-May to November, though Cabo generally only experiences tropical storms. The most requested dates at our resort are from October to May.

Our seaside resort is located on a rocky beach that is not good for swimming, however, we are an easy walk or shuttle ride to Medano Beach, Cabo's most popular swimming spot

There are endless family activities in Los Cabos, such as beach bumming, swimming, snorkeling, horseback riding, zip-lining, ATVing, sunset cruises, and whale watching (between December 15 and April 15). Meeting & Weddings

Yes. For Americans to get legally married in Mexico, they must have a valid Passport, a birth certificate, a foreign marriage permit and four witnesses. There are also many requirements to cover, like the apostille, translator and a blood test in the previous days before the wedding that has to be done locally by an approved lab. This means you need to come at least 4 days prior to the wedding if you want to to get legally married in Mexico.

Is a symbolic ceremony, most couples get legally married in America and come to Cabo for the wedding ceremony with family and friends in the breathtaking scenery of Hacienda Encantada. If you want to get legally married in Mexico, your wedding coordinator can add that to your wedding package.

To reserve a date for your wedding at our Cabo resort you must put down an initial deposit of $1,000 USD. The deposit will hold the venue and will be credited to your wedding balance. To ensure you wedding experience is intimate and unforgettable, we only hold one wedding a day at El Encanto All Inclusive Resort. We provide personal service and full attention to detail to make you the rock star of the day.

For events and weddings held at the El Encanto All Inclusive Resort, the curfew is in the winter season is at 10:00 p.m. and in summer the cut-ff time is at 11:00 p.m.

We can decorate our beautiful beach and venues for your wedding to match your style and theme. The décor is quoted separately according to your event design. The Hacienda Dreams package includes table center pieces.

It's best to arrange everything through the resort. Your wedding coordinator will provide a list of vendors so you can select the services you want, and will follow up until every detail is perfect. If you rather use your own supplier, there is a vendor entrance fee and you need to notify us with the name of the supplier for them to have access to the resort. In this case, the delivery of the hired service is on your own supervision.

Your wedding guests are not required to stay at the resort, but know that all our wedding packages are all inclusive for people staying at the resort. This means that an additional price will apply for guest staying out of the resort.

We offer group accommodations and room blocks for your destination wedding guests. The minimum room block to get special concessions for the bride and groom is 10 rooms for 3 nights stay.

Children from 4 to 12 year old will pay a special price according to the chosen package. Children under 4 don't pay. And children older than 12 year old are consider as adults price.
